INTRODUCTION TO FAILURE MODES AND EFFECTS ANALYSIS (FMEA)
2 Day Course
Next Date: 23rd - 24th April 2012

This programme can also be run at your premises and adapted to your specific requirements.
Contact us if you'd like to discuss this further.

Who should attend?
If you're a manager or engineer looking for an overview of the FMEA technique and an insight into how FMEA information is used, then this course is for you.

Why attend?
FMEA is one of the most established methods for identifying hazards in new plant. It also forms the first stage of more recently developed techniques, such as Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), making it one of the most widely used analysis tools for reliability or availability improvement and cost reduction.

What does the course cover?

  • Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodology
  • Breaking down the system into sub-systems
  • Functional FMEA
  • Hardware FMEA
  • Reporting and documentation

Engineering applications and examples are provided throughout.

2 Day Course  £650.00 + VAT

If, in addition to FMEA, you'd also like to learn about risk considerations and specialist techniques for determining the impact of failure modes, our 4 day course in FMECA covers this.
